- The Itinerary of Half Day Tour to explore Marrakech Heritage Sites
We begin the visit of the imperial city of Marrakech through its different Suk (Suk Smata-slippers, Suk Haddadine- iron manufacturers, Suk Chouari- weavers, Suk Cherratine- where the leather is worked, Suk of the jewelers) .
From there, you will arrive at the Ben Youssef madrasa, the largest and most beautiful Koranic school in the city, near the mosque of the same name, the Koubba Almoravid and the Museum of Marrakech, which we will visit. Moving to another part of the city, you will visit the Bahia Palace or the "beautiful" residence of Ba Ahmed Vizier, built around 1880, and from there to the palace of Dar Si-Said, a magnificent residence of the brother of the vizier. Near these two buildings you can see the exterior of the El-Mansour Mosque. We continue then with the visit of the Saadian tombs, which guard the sepulchres of the sovereigns and members of the family of this dynasty. The city tour ends at the Jamaa el-Fna main square where we meet chiromancers, snake charmers, small bands, water carriers, tattoo artists ...
